Corporate Social Responsibility

Whether you are an individual or a company – we do not exist in isolation, but are integrated into a social and ecological environment that influences us on the one hand, but over which we also have an influence on the other.
We accept this responsibility!
The guidelines are contained in our declaration of principles.

Declaration of Principles

Quality, occupational safety, health, energy, and environmental policy
Code of conduct for social responsibility

As a traditional manufacturer of cables, wires, and plastic products, we are committed with conviction to systematic quality management, occupational safety, sustainable energy management, and to health safety as individual elements of a comprehensively integrated management system.

Ecological matters

Savings from 2012 to 2021

  • Switching to ceiling spotlights in the factory buildings
  • Installation of triple glazing in all windows in the administration buildings
  • Conversion to LED lighting
  • Lowering the temperature in the factories on public holidays and during company holidays
  • Regular notices with simple tips on saving energy for our employees
  • We regularly train our employees on the topic of the environment and sustainability

Promoting a liveable environment

Our company premises are surrounded by mature trees and a pond. In order to maintain the balance between cable production and nature, we take care to preserve the trees and protect the animals that live there. Last year, we were even able to relocate bats from a neighbouring demolition building to our company premises. This was achieved by installing bat boxes throughout the company premises.

Social affairs

Change starts with ourselves.
That is why we are committed to our guiding values both internally and externally:
Respect, flexibility, reliability, improvement and expertise

Employee benefits

Our employees are the key to our success, no one is more Bayka than them. We are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive and safe working environment. Ongoing training and development opportunities are focussed on promoting the wellbeing and professional development of our employees. Our goal is to work together to supply customers worldwide with high-quality cables and components.
We recognise this achievement in many ways.

Supply chain

We attach great importance to transparency and ethical standards along our supply chain. By carefully selecting suppliers and partnerships, we promote fair working conditions, human rights and sustainable production. In this way, we also fulfill the requirements of the German Supply Chain Duty of Care Act (LkSG).

Whistleblower protection

acc. to German Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG)

Another key component of our CSR initiative is the protection of whistleblowers. We encourage all employees and stakeholders to report ethical concerns and violations of our principles. A secure and protected channel is available for these important reports.

For such cases, we have set up a complaints system where you can report your concerns (anonymously if you wish) via the independent company People Intouch.
