We are Bayka – one Company, one Family.

Cabels and wires connect people, buildings and whole continents. They connect machines and devices, supply us with energy and transport us from one place to the other. Therefore it is no wonder that they have been moving our company for more than one century. 

In our company, tradition meets innovation.  A flat hierarchy, a unique material expertise and a highly modern testing laboratory provide the best conditions for our products. As a supplier for universal cables with a wide application range and customized solutions, we as Bayka have achieved an excellent reputation in future industries as railway technology and public transport, power engineering, building industry as well as machinery and plant engineering.

About us

Bayka (short for Bayerische Kabelwerke AG) is a medium-sized cable manufacturer with more than 130 years company tradition.

We develop and produce power cables, flexible connection cables as well as motor cables, telecommunication cables, FOC, railway cables, signalling cables, fire protection cables as well as customer-specific cables. The product range Baykaplus complements our cable range with a constantly growing selection of cable accessories.

We have production sites for cable manufacturing in the Middle Franconian city Roth as well as in the German capital Berlin (Bayka Berlin GmbH and Berliner Glasfaserkabel GmbH).  The subsidiary Bayka Color Farbkonzentrate GmbH, also located in Roth, produces colour concentrates and plastic compounds for the cable industry as well as for plastics processing businesses.

BayMotion® Flexible Connection
Motor and Power Cables

Our Bayka product line BayMotion® offers a broad range of robust, interference-free and long-living flexible connection cables as well as low capacitance motor cables. They function as power and control cables for the connection of electrical plants, servo drives and drive systems with frequency converter technology.

BayMotion® power connection cables are flexible and robust, especially suitable for applications with constricted space conditions, e.g. portable machine parts, for internal wiring of electrical components or for transformer stations.
